COMPUTER-BASED SELECTION
After
going through the administrative selection process. I
continued the struggle to attend Computer Based Selection (SBK). This SBK Batch
2 Selection between October 2-18th, 2019, I got on 15th October. This selection
called computer-based selection because the test uses a computer. LPDP
cooperates with the state staffing agency to perform this test. Test locations
are scattered in several regions in Indonesia. I got a test at BKN Surabaya. I
chose it in Surabaya, because indeed the test place closest to home is
Surabaya: D
Well,
the questions that are tested are Academic Potential Test (TPA) which consists
of cognitive, numerical and reasoning questions. There will also be a
Personality Competency/ TKP Test and essays. Tips from me to conquer SBK
questions for TPA, you have to practice a lot of work on the problems. I
recommend the TPA book from Otto Bapenas. Because the questions that come out
are quite similar and are not much different from the questions that are
usually made by Otto Bappenas. I used to get 60 questions for TPA with
90 minutes, 60 Personal Competency questions/TKP with 30 minutes, and one essay
question with 30 minutes. So, the total time given is 2 hours 30 minutes. Oh btw,
for those of you who are minus, don't forget to bring your glasses, because
this affects your focus in doing it. When i dit it, I didn't bring
glasses, so my eyes were quite hot and runny.
Then
the TKP test has more variation, because the answer is in accordance with your
own thoughts and personalities. This problem is almost the same as the TKP test
on the CPNS test, you can learn it. And the last one is about essay questions. Before you do it you will be given illustrations, the matter of wanting you to
give ideas, suggestions and opinions on the issues given. Because the time
given is quite short. You must be able to manage your time well. For example 2
(two) minutes to read the illustrations, 3 (three) minutes to make a writing
framework, and 25 (twenty-five) minutes to write. Tips from me, you have to
calm down, do not need to see the right side of the left out of the room
because they had completed the exam, FOCUS ON YOURSELF, and try to stay focused
even though the sound of a computer typing machine is very noisy. And don't
forget you also have to practice diligently writing essays in a crowded place
by using a timer, so that from this exercise can help you get used to it even
though later when the test gets a short and noisy time the keabord typing sound
from other participants.
Now
because there are quite a lot of SBK tested, I again suggest that you have to
prepare well in advance. In the past when I was preparing for this test, I was
dizzy and confused about where to learn. Seeing quite a lot of material that
had to be prepared. Not to mention the current topic of essays that sometimes
are not in our field. Well, the challenge is when I got an issue that doesn't
fit the field that I understood. Because of my backgorund in the field of education,
but at that time I got an issue about the One Data One Policy, which was an
issue that was not in line with my field. Therefore, I suggest that for you
from now on you must to continue reading the news, so that when you are going
to implement SBK, you only need to prepare the TPA and TKP, and related to the
essay question, you only need to exchange your knowledge about the hot issues.

finally after a few days later, precisely on October 25th, 2019 I got a notification
in an email and messenger, that the results of the SBK graduation can already
be seen in the participant's account. And Alhamdulillah, Allah blessings were
extraordinary, I got an announcement like this
