ADMINISTRATION SELECTION
Hello
friends, let me introduce myself first. Everyone usually call me Fita, I'm
fressgraduated from Jember University and my major is economics education. When
I was studying in college, I often saw cool brothers, who were stormy and so
smart. Sometimes i was also dazed when i saw themselves, Why they were so cool
to get a scholarship that is difficult to accomplish. Well, the LPDP
scholarship that I meant. I used to think that the LPDP scholarship was a very
difficult and scary for scholarship seekers. When I was seeing the awardee (as a
scholarship recipient) I’m really like insecure, Not feel so confident with my
abilities, this sentence is definitely in my brain "can I like
them?".
Btw,
for those of you who don't know, the scholarship from the Institute of
Education Fund Management/ LPDP is a scholarship given to the best sons and
daughters of Indonesia who plan to continue their studies at the S2 and S3
levels and this scholarship is under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance. When
I was in college, I often looked for information about scholarships, starting
from joining scholarship groups such as scholars and following account awardee,
but honestly in my heart I still often felt insecure and not confident with my
abilities.
And
when I entered the final semester, my insecure sense was still very strong, I
thought "I don't think I should take LPDP", but encouragement from my
parents, closest people and financial situation that didn't really allow me to
continue my studies at an independent cost. Those were some of my reasons make sure to apply
this scholarship and keep trying to fight my insecure. But for one of you,
don't ever feel pessimistic or insecure to apply this scholarship, because my
thought have always been wrong. LPDP isn't that scary, it is fun and
challenging, hehe. Okay stop confirming yes, back to the main point, come on
And
this year, LPDP has some series of selection processes such as administrative
selection, Computer Based Selection (SBK) and Interview / substance selection.
In this article, I want to share my experience about administrative
requirements, for SBK selection and interviews / substance until finally I pass
the interview, I will share in my next writing . Full information about
administration requirements can be found on the web www.lpdp.kemenkeu.go.id I want
to share about the requirements that are quite draining of energy, material and
thoughts hehe. One of the requirements is TOEFL. The TOEFL accepted by LPDP is
only the TOEFL ITP issued by ETS, so if you want to apply for LPDP and ever
have taken a TOEFL test but just prediction, then you were required to do test
again.
ITP
TOEFL test places are scattered in several regions in Indonesia. You can choose,
and I took in one of the institutions at the Pare. The prices of the TOEFL test
has variation, but not much different. Around 500 rupiah, the point is that you
must to prepare, so that you won't be surprised if you need it. The minimum
scores for the TOEFL also have variation, depending on the path you will be
appying next chance, so you have to study far away, because many friends there can’t
register because the TOEFL score is not enough to get the specified
requirements.
Then
the other requirement is essay, in 2019 the LPDP policy makes 2 (two) essays
namely “Study Paper and Study Plan”. Maybe one of you are still confused about
the difference between two essays. The point of the study paper is about the
reasons why we choose study programs, campus and the relevance of your major will
be take with national development. Then for the study plan contains lecture
plans, thesis, and activities on and off campus. Well, this requirement takes a
long time to find ideas, conceptualize and write it, so don't use the quickly
system. Especially about the thesis plan that you will take later when you
continue to master. Then don’t forget this essay is not only an administrative
requirement, but also an important part of the interview selection and will
also be held accountable for what you write. So prepare it well yesss
After
I prepared all the requirements, bismillah with strong determination, support
and prayers from parents, lecturers and friends, in early September I forgot
the exact date around September 4th, 2019. I registered on the official LPDP website
to participate in Batch 2 selection . And after spending a long time on
September 24th, 2019, I got an email and messenger from LPDP that the results
of the administrative selection had been announced in each account. My hands
were shaking and still not ready to open, and finally I called Umi (one of the
parents' calls) to accompany me to open an account. And when I opened it I got
a picture like the one below

to fight in the next SBK selection.
